A solidly built mid century modern classic. The base of the table is made of cast aluminum and the white coated top is the smoothest finished wood with tapered edges. When the tabletop is in place, you do not see any visible screws between the top and the base-a signature of Knoll construction. Saarinen’s Pedestal Collection dates back to 1957. An attached plaque with Saarinen’s signature and a Knoll stamp are on the bottom. The table is still in production and this is a newer version from Knoll, Inc. from 2010.
